Beautiful gardens lovingly designed - Creating an authentic Japanese garden with a “mountain, a lake, dry river bed, bridge and bamboo jungle” all enclosed in a traditionally tied bamboo fence
- Restoring an existing garden by introducing more architectural plants in the shrub border, more colour and perfume in the terraced area, more intrigue in the ferns and fossil section and completely removing the tatty lawns to create water and stone gardens
- Taking a virgin garden as left by the builders and establishing an attractive and interesting outdoor room
- An acre water garden for the Millennium which involved ground clearance with heavy machinery before planting thousands of bulbs and hundreds of trees, and the creation of bog gardens and redirecting streams
- Replanting all the flower beds around an historic Manor House
- Creating a workable one acre garden from a steeply sloping North facing site, providing woodland, wild garden, huge pond and formal front garden
- Landscaping four and a half acre ex chicken farm to create a courtyard garden, an orchard and wildlife pond and a park land around a new house
- Planting a gravel garden in the old farmyard of a barn conversion, creating a play lawn and orchard and building a huge fruit and vegetable cage with raised organic beds
- Building and developing the gardens around 4 nursing homes (within a large group) with emphasis on health and safety as well as attraction
- Planting a half acre flower picking garden within the grounds of a listed Manor House
- Establishing a tiny Roman garden courtyard in the middle of Cirencester – no colour but green and lots of architectural foliage.
- Creating a secure garden for two disabled ladies
- Totally revamping a minute back yard and adding a water feature
- Turning a long, thin, featureless garden into two different and desirable “rooms”
- Completely redesigning, painting and planting a basement flat garden in Westminster
- Turning a builder destroyed front garden into a wonderful decked room with bamboos, water, wisteria and fragrance
- Planting miles of beech hedges and even more miles of native hedgerows
